A New Idea

We have an idea in our heads that we have been cooking up for a few months now, and its getting close to actually happening. We are thinking about starting to put out videos more regularly on our YouTube channel showcasing different quilting techniques, machine tips and tricks, and other “day in the life” style videos. But where to start?

The easy part is out of the way already, I have a lot of production equipment and know how to use it all. We even have a few pretty decent ideas of what to shoot, and what we want the final product to look like. The issue is us. As with most people on this planet, I cringe every time I hear my own voice played back to me. Since I am the one who will be editing these videos, I’ve decided that it won’t be my own voice I spend hours each week listening to. That leaves Eva, who can give a engaging and informative presentation to thousands of people if you ask her to. But is unsure when presenting to nothing but a lens. People bring out the best in her presenting skills.

So where do we begin? As with most things we do, we have made the choice to do this and will crash through it until we make it work. We would love to know what your ideas are for videos you would like to see. What do you think is lacking when it comes to quilting videos?

On another note, we are extremely thankful to each and every one of you for being our support. You have all kept us very busy over the last few weeks, and are so grateful for the support. Our customers are our friends, and we want nothing more than for our friends to be happy. Without you, none of this would be possible. Thank you!
